Yesterday I fulfilled a long-held ambition to visit the Kennedy Space Centre on Cape Canaveral. When I was little, I saw slides pictures of it that my parents took on their world travels in the early 1970s (when they were still sending people to the moon), and have been fascinated by it ever since. I think I might have even written a story about Neil Armstrong when I was in grade three. Suffice to say, it was pretty awesome. The smoke in the picture is from a 'controlled' burn off that they were doing towards the south of the island.
