I love the New York subway. In fact, I love a good public transport system in general, which is something that's quite honestly lacking back home in Australia, although Melbourne's is pretty good, thanks to the Trams. Public transport are the veins that carry the lifeblood of a city, so subsequently the better connected a city is, the better it functions.

If you are in New York this weekend, or know of someone that is that also loves good live music, you should let them know or come down to the Alphabet Lounge on Avenue C in the East Village this Saturday night July 23rd at 8:30pm. I'm also playing in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, at Spike Hill on Sunday evening July 24th at 6:00pm. They'll both have A/C, so come on down and get out of the heat.
