Bar Stars
Tonight, Wednesday February 24th, I'm playing a show for Bar Stars at The Vine in Memphis, TN. The Bar Stars is a great local collective of singers and songwriters, and showcases the best of Memphis talent, as well as occasionally some special guests from out of town. Tonight is no different, featuring Memphis music legends Greg Reding and Danny Green, myself, and one of Australia's best singer-songwriters, Heath Cullen. It'll kick off just after 10:00pm so put away your shovel and put on your best blue suit.

Also worth a look is this article from Robyn McKie, the science editor at the guardian.co.uk, which brings attention to the growing and widening concern of big business actively campaigning against recognised science to support their own status quo. Read the article here.

Sights
The 'Hornet's Nest' was the scene of some of the fiercest fighting at Shiloh. The Federal forces held on there for hours, withstanding wave after wave of Confederate charges across the field. In the mid-afternoon, Confederate artillery assembled 62 cannons only 300 yards from the Federal defenses and unleashed a long barrage that severely weakened the Federal positions, which very soon afterwards were surrounded and forced to surrender.
Back to the present, I'm playing a show this week on Wednesday February 22nd in Memphis, TN, as a member of the Bar Stars at The Vine. Also playing will be my good friend Mr Greg Reding, Mr Danny Green, and my Australian compatriot Mr Heath Cullen. It's going to be a pretty awesome show. Seriously.

This is another photo from the gang at Stun Gun Photography in Atlanta, GA, taken at my show there last week. They sure can capture an image or two.

Reedy
Today, February 10th 2012, is going to be a busy one. At 11:00am EST I'm making an appearance on Knoxivi TV in Knoxville, TN, and you can stream it here. Then I'm shooting across to the Visitor's Centre in Downtown Knoxville for a live broadcast and performance on The Blue Plate Special on WDVX at 12:00pm EST, which you can stream here if you're not in Knoxville. If you're in Knoxville though, come on down to check it out at the Visitor's Centre at 301 South Gay St, Knoxville, TN, or tune your radio to WDVX on 102.9FM.
After that, I'll be heading down to Chattanooga for a show tonight at The Market Street Tavern at 850 Market St, which kicks off around 9:30pm. All killer, no filler.

Thanks to everyone who came out to The Soho Bar and Grill in Columbus, GA, last night! I wish I was better at poker, though.
